Hi, we’re Madeline & Quinn.
Hi, we’re Madeline & Quinn.

Madeline has been farming on mid-size organic vegetable farms for the past 11 years. She has worked in farm-to-school education and hunger relief organizations on both coasts, and is passionate about growing food sustainably for herself and her community.

Quinn grew up in Skagit Valley and started harvesting strawberries at age 11. Having farmed at local organic vegetable farms both small and large, his goal is to immerse himself in as many aspects of food production as possible. Previously a wholesale produce buyer for a local food hub, he’s also an accomplished Diesel Mechanic who keeps Daybreak’s equipment running.

After many years of envisioning the kind of farm operation we wanted to run—a local source of high-quality legumes for our community—we finally launched Daybreak Farm in 2025.

In addition to growing and selling legumes to our neighbors, we also grow and sell organic vegetable seed crops to bioregional seed companies for farmers and gardeners to purchase. We believe in building a healthy local organic seed economy that will contribute to seed sovereignty and food security.
